Belgrade Beer Fest 2024

A packed Ušće, intense performances by Jarboli, Galija, Dubioza Kolektiv, and Love Hunters, and an unprecedented audience delirium – this sums up the atmosphere of the first night of the popular festival.

What Dubioza Kolektiv did last night, with the strong support of around 50,000 voices from the audience, is hard to put into words – such a concert has rarely been seen at any festival, and the band showed that even after more than 20 years, they lack no energy!

Exactly at 10 PM, Dubioza took the stage ready to ignite the crowd, and the audience welcomed them with thunderous, prolonged ovations. From the start, it was clear that the atmosphere would reach an unreal peak, and during the hour and a half of their performance, the audience was in complete delirium: hit after hit followed, and the vast sea of fans experienced incredible ecstasy, hypnotized by this unforgettable performance that will be talked about for a long time.

It was no different during Galija’s performance – the audience sang along with the famous frontman Neša to the well-known song “Uzalud se trudiš,” with which the band began their set. Hits like “Kotor,” “Digni ruku,” and others followed, with the crowd growing louder with each song. Lighters and mobile phones lit up, and the crowd sang in unison. As expected, Galija once again demonstrated with their excellent performance why they are one of the most beloved bands in this region.

Before Dubioza Kolektiv and Galija, the cult Belgrade band Jarboli performed, officially kicking off this year’s edition of Belgrade Beer Fest. In their recognizable style, Jarboli, with minimal words but excellent playing, prepared the audience for the continuation of this unforgettable night. The program on the main festival stage was closed by Love Hunters.

Equally frenetic last night was on the Electro stage, where several thousand fans enjoyed performances by Timbe, Rahmanee & Vikler MC, and Euphorics & Edge MC. The Riff stage also saw energetic performances from Plus 1, who opened the program, followed by Killo Killo Banda, Stomp!, The Bite, and the iconic SMF, who closed the program on this stage.

Tonight, Belgrade Beer Fest continues with the same intensity – fierce and energetic: Beogradski Sindikat has announced an unprecedented party to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary, and there will also be performances by Kanda Kodža i Nebojša, S.A.R.S., Beogradski sindikat, Sunshine, and Bojan Ristić House Trumpet Band.
