Belgrade Beer Fest is the largest beer festival in South-eastern Europe

Belgrade Beer Fest – an urban institution that has lasted for more than two decades, providing unforgettable experiences to all beer lovers and fans of good music from the entire region. Since it began its story in 2003, this festival has become the ultimate summer event in Belgrade, attracting thousands of people every year. It was an absolute record-breaker in 2010 with over half a million visitors passing through the festival gates! Here, history, beer and great music come together in a unique way, reflecting the spirit of Belgrade and the pulsating alternative scene of the capital.

In 2005, the British newspaper “The Independent” included BBF among the 20 top world events, while in 2009, it was awarded the marketing event of the year by “Taboo” magazine. Since 2022, the festival has been declared a manifestation of importance for the City of Belgrade and is part of a wider manifestation, “Belgrade summer” (BeogradskoLeto). The first five editions of Belgrade Beer Fest were held at Belgrade’s Fortress Kalemegdan, and in 2008, it was moved to Ušće in Belgrade. Over the years, BBF has hosted some of the biggest names in the music industry, including world-renowned artists such as Simple Minds, Stereo MC’s, Rudimental, Tommy Emmanuel, Kosheen and many more. The festival stages also welcomed some of the best local and regional artists, showcasing a wide range of musical genres, from rock and pop to hip hop and electronic music.

From 2022, Belgrade Beer Fest is divided into two zones – the Cloud zone with numerous contents and attractive programs for all ages, and the music, concert zone. BBF 2022 edition brought a significant change in quality not only in terms of content, but also in production, rivalling the strongest and largest European and world festivals.

In addition to the rich music program, Belgrade Beer Fest also offers numerous long contents, as well as a rich offer of the most diverse beer labels. With more than 300 different brands of beer on offer, including some of the best domestic and international beers, the festival is a true paradise for lovers of this alcoholic drink.

With more than two decades of existence, Belgrade Beer Fest has become an indispensable link of the Belgrade cultural scene, as well as a place that attracts audiences from all over the region and Europe.
