Brkovi
Brkovi was formed in 2004, but a major turning point in their career came in 2007 with the arrival of vocalist Shamso69 (Vedran Pehar), who became the author of most songs and the driving force behind their new sound. The band created an original musical style called “PunkFolkWellness,” uniquely blending traditional folk music with punk, rock, metal, and reggae. Their debut album, PunkFolkWellness (2009), brought them great popularity and sparked a wave of fans across the region.
They continued their success with the album Društvo brkatih mladića and six more studio releases. They are recipients of the prestigious “Performer of the Year” award from Radio 202. Recently, they released the single “Labavi” and a new video for a rearranged version of the song “Naša mala zemlja.” New singles, videos, and performances are planned. The lineup consists of Shamso69 (vocals), Tomac (bass), Krama (guitar), Torbica (guitar), and Šarac (drums).
