Nipplepeople

Nipplepeople is a Croatian electro-pop duo formed in 2008 in Zagreb, known for their masked performances that preserve their anonymity and create a unique, mysterious atmosphere. Their distinctive sound blends downtempo, synthwave, and elements of experimental electronic music, bringing a fresh vibe to the local music scene. Their debut single “Broj” (2009) became a major hit on domestic radio stations, with the track mixed and mastered in London by a specialist who has worked with renowned artists like Massive Attack, Madonna, and Robbie Williams.
Their popularity soared further with their 2017 cover of the legendary Zdenka Kovačiček’s song “Frka,” which quickly became a huge hit across the Balkans. Nipplepeople regularly perform at prominent regional festivals and are often recognized as a symbol of freedom and creativity within the LGBTQ+ community.
