Belgrade Beer Fest, traditional beer festival of Belgrade will be held from August 16th to August 20th, and it is expected that this year's event will be visited by a record number of tourists. For domestic and foreign guests, a number of program innovations and beer zones have been prepared, and visitors of the festival, along with a free entrance, will have the opportunity to see 37 performances of domestic, regional and world stars at two stages.
As one of the most recognizable tourist brands of our country, Belgrade Beer Fest for fifteen years offers to the fans of good entertainment, the most diverse beer tastes and concerts of prestigious music performers. For success and development of the festival during all these years, extremely important is the support of the City of Belgrade, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, as well as the Tourist Organization of Serbia and Belgrade that recognize the contribution of the festival to the positioning of Serbia and Belgrade on the tourist map of Europe.
Belgrade Beer Fest, from year to year, uses a big visit to the festival to communicate socially responsible and humanitarian campaigns, as well as actions that provide visitors a pleasant stay and maximum security at the festival.
"Guys, who is driving home?" is one of the most important actions referring to responsible consumption and traffic safety, which has been organized for the fifth consecutive year by HEINEKEN Serbia in cooperation with the Agency for Traffic Safety, the City Traffic Company Belgrade (GSP), the Business Association of Road Traffic "Srbijatransport" as well as Belgrade Beer Fest. As during previous years, free city transport for arrival and departure from the festival to four key points in Belgrade will be provided for all the visitors and intercity transportation from Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac will be organized. Besides free transport, visitors will be able to participate in interesting educational activities on the topic of responsible consumption, which will be organized in the Safe zone within the festival. Before the festival begins, visitors will be informed about the way of applying for intercity and city transport.
Among the novelties, which will allow visitors to have more comfortable fun at the festival, is certainly a partnership with VISA Company. Belgrade Beer Fest guests will, for the first time, have the opportunity to pay fast, secure and reliable using VISA contactless cards. This innovative payment method will be enabled at one hundred terminals at Belgrade Beer Fest, which will significantly improve the quality of service and allow visitors to have more time to enjoy parties and concerts without waiting in long queues.
In order to raise awareness about the significance and importance of recycling, Belgrade Beer Fest for the ninth year in a row, in cooperation with Ball Packaging Europe, Recan Recycling foundation and its partners organizes a socially responsible and ecological recycling campaign I choose to recycle.
This year, Recan Foundation promotes its campaign Every Can Counts, which will give visitors the opportunity to recycle beverage cans at several points within the festival space. This year at Beer Fest three presses for aluminium cans will be set within festival area that will work on the principle of downloading the free online application "Solagro - Future of recycling", which will be available online from August 8th.
It is necessary for the user to create his account on the application, bring empty cans at Recan Foundation stand, where cans are being inserted into the smart press, and based on that, points are counted after which visitors get interesting rewards. And after the end of the festival, through this application, visitors will be able to collect points in several other locations in Belgrade, where smart interactive presses will be placed.
At Recan stand at the plateau by the entrance no. 1, Wheel of fortune will be set, where visitors who bring at least three empty cans will have the opportunity to win one of the prizes of the "I choose to recycle" campaign.
And in honour of the 15th birthday of Belgrade Beer Fest at Ušće, a special, two meter high, metal installation BEER FEST will be set up. A modern installation in the form of 3D letters will be one of the biggest attractions of this year's beer festival.
The letters will be filled daily, with empty cans, during five festival days, and selfie with BEER FEST 3D letters will surely be an important topic on social networks during the 15th Belgrade Beer Fest.
See you at Ušće!
