Stereo MC's and Rundek at 15th Belgrade Beer Fest

The stars of this year's 15th Belgrade Beer Fest will be joined by the famous hip-hop/ dance attraction, the British band Stereo MC's.

Their performance will mark the second night of the festival, an hour after midnight, within the new festival space - Innovation Zone. Stereo MC's were created in the mid-1980s inspired by hip-hop and the legendary British club scene. Band reached their international success with the album "Connected", which, in addition to high circulation, provided them a tour of performances at famous festivals including Glastonbury. They received prestigious awards such as "Mercury" and two "Brit" awards for the best album and best performance. After this period, there was a slumber, during which they were mostly in remixes, and seven years later they returned to the music map by single "Deep, Down and Dirty".

Regional star, Croatian singer-songwriter Darko Rundek, will perform in front of the audience at Ušće on Saturday, August 19th, when he and his band will perform new and old, well-known hits. The famous musician, who marked twenty years of career after the breakup of the Haustor band, promised a good atmosphere with a rich opus for all generations.

Having introduced the concerts of Darko Rundek and Stereo MC's, we have completed the program of this year's jubilee Belgrade Beer Fest 15th in a row.

The musical program begins every day at 6 pm, and the first day of the festival will be marked with performances of Death Saw and their frontman Đorđe David, rock band Van Gogh, music duo from Niš under the name of Stereo Banana, which will bring a mixture of hip-hop, breakbeat, reggae and funk, which will also be an introduction to the famous British electric band Asian Dub Foundation, whose music visitors will be able to enjoy within the Innovation Zone. The fans of the domestic sound will be delighted by the concert of Galija, the legendary band from Niš on the same evening.

On the second day of the festival, the stage warm up will start with the metal punk band Mortal Kombat, followed by the concert of the legendary rock band Riblja Čorba, then continued with the performances of the cult Belgrade punk band Direktori and the most famous domestic Irishmen - Orthodox Celts. On the same evening, the audience will be able to enjoy the performance of the band Stereo MC's from one hour after midnight.

The program on Friday, August 18th, will be opened by the band from Mladenovac, Cotton Pickers, followed by Belgrade super group, Škrtice, headed by Cane, after which the night will sail into regional waters with the performances of the punk-rock band Hladno pivo, Zabranjeno pušenje from Sarajevo and Croatian turbo/ folk/ punk/ rock attraction Brkovi. The program will be closed by Kiril Djaikovsky's performance in the Innovation Zone and performance of the punk band Atheist Rap at the Main Stage.

Performances of popular band Ničim izazvan, Darko Rundek, punk band Goblini and S.A.R.S in Innovation Zone, rockers from Niš, Kerber and ska punk band Samostalni referenti will mark the program that the audience will see on Saturday, August 19th.

The last day of the festival will begin with the reggae sounds of Del Arno Band. After that, starts the evening to remember with Plavi orkestar and their guests, and the night of good fun will continue with the gigs of Dejan Petrović and his Big Band in the Innovation Zone. The performance of the band KAL at Main Stage will close the 15th jubilee beer festival.

Belgrade Beer Fest will be held from August 16th to August 20th at Ušće with the support of the Belgrade City Assembly, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Tourist Organization of Belgrade and the Tourist Organization of Serbia.
