Along with good music, variety of beer, interesting souvenirs - festival offers another aspect which makes it special, and that is the beer drinking contest.

Traditionally, on the last day of the festival, Main stage will be ready for the final encounter.

LAVOVSKI CUG - a festival contest with the longest tradition

Quarterfinal	- Friday, August 20, 21:00, Lav stand
Semi-final	- Saturday, August 21, 21:00, Lav stand
Final	- Sunday, August 22, 00:45, Main stage

This year, as the years before, this contest will be organized in several disciplines:

1. Individual contest – men
   • Quarter final: 12 groups, each with 4 contestants, in total 48. First placed from every group goes to the semi-final.
   • Semi-final: 3 groups, each with 4 contestants, in total 12. First placed from every group goes to the final.
   • Final: 3 contestants plus last year's winner.
2. Individual contest – women
   • Quarter final: 12 groups, each with 4 contestants, in total 48. First placed from every group goes to the semi-final.
   • Semi-final: 3 groups, each with 4 contestants, in total 12. First placed from every group goes to the final.
   • Final: 3 contestants plus last year's winner.
3. Group contest (three members, at least one girl)
   • Quarter final: 12 groups, knockout system, 6 groups go to the semi-final
   • Semi-final: 6 groups, knockout system, 3 groups go to the final
   • Final: 3 groups
4. Brewery representatives contest (depending on the number of applied representatives) enje predstavnika pivara (zavisi od broja prijavljenih)
   • Semi-final: 3 groups, each with 3 contestants, in total 9. First placed go to the final.
   • Final: 3 contestants.
5. Media representatives contest (depending on the number of applied representatives)
   • Semi-final: 3 groups, each with 3 contestants, in total 9. First placed go to the final.
   • Final: 3 contestants

In this discipline, speed and concentration are very important and after drinking up, one has to turn down the mug to the floor.

MUG HOLDING

Final: Sunday, August 22, 00:45, Main stage

1. Individual contest – men
• Final: number of participants at the Main stage (the quarter final and semi-final depend on the number of applied contestants)
2. Individual contest – women
• Final: number of participants at the Main stage (the quarter final and semi-final depend on the number of applied contestants

Contestants will be holding the beer steins (1.5kg). The winner is the one who manages to hold it for the longest period of time.

Organizer holds the right of programme alteration if needed!

A list of the prize winners will be published at the site www.belgradebeerfest.com, no later than September 1^st.

Competition terms:

1. Belgrade Cultural Network, festival producer is an organizer of the competition
2. Topic: "Belgrade Beer Fest 2010"
3. Participation is free of charge
4. Photo dimensions: maximum 2048 pixels at wider side, maximum file size is 600 kilobytes
5. Photos are to be hand down from August 18^th till August 28^th
6. Authors could take part in with three photos at most
7. All received photos will stay in the Belgrade Cultural Network Fund, and could be used for the exhibitions, site and publications.
8. All the received works will be selected by the jury, and their decision will be the final.
9. Photos should be without any large interventions, which means that one could not combine or use the motives from different photos. The photos with no or very little interventions will be favored by the jury.
10. The authors should send only their work, under moral and material responsibility.
11. The authors renounce the compensation from the reproduction of their work at sites, publications or posters.
12. By sending the photos to this competition, the author accepts all the above mentioned terms.
